Nathalie: Good for you girl. I can remember a time when I weighed 130 and I still thought I was fat. Now after 2 children I am up to 187 pounds. People tell me I carry it well but it still drives me insane. Atleast you had the willpower to lose weight already. I am so weak I set up goals and then after awhile I get lazy and give up . Good Luck to you I am sure you will succeed when you've come so far already!

Christmas Challenge

  • Weather: Sunny and Chilly
A member at Weight Watchers online posted a Christmas challenge that I like. I decided to give it a go.....it could only benefit me. I have a hard time getting myself motivated to exercise, so starting a challenge will help me to retain some desire to get something accomplished.

Here are the details of the challenge:
In addition to our normal exercise routine, we will do the following:

1. 100 Crunches in increments of 25
2. 100 Push ups in increments of 25
3. 100 Lunges in increments of 25
4. 100 Squats in increments of 25

THESE CAN BE DONE ALL AT ONCE OR 25/50 AT A TIME.

PUSH-UPS CAN BE DONE ON THE FLOOR OR AGAINST THE WALL.

Each day I will list the requirements for our challenge posted as questions:
1. Did you earn AP's
2. How many AP's
3. Situps? (how many)
4. Crunches? (how many)
5. Lunges? (how many)
6. Squats? (how many)

I've simply got to get more motivated. Of course, it doesn't help when I have to fix our meals differently. I can get away with making some low-fat, low calorie meals, but some of them I've found will NOT be eaten by my clan. I'm not a fan of making two meals, but sometimes it just has to be. I can't live on spaghetti and sandwiches alone.
